Nothing Changes at the "Non-Townhall Townhall"

If you watched the debate last night and managed to stay awake during the whole thing, you probably felt like I did: LAAAAAME! The questions were softball, the moderator was boring and the answers were nothing short of talking points.

Check out my reaction for RelevantMagazine.com entitled, "McCain & Obama Face Off." Let me know if you agree with my analysis and let me know if you have anything to add. Also, if you are looking for a little reported story regarding the debate, check out this column from the New York Times about John McCain leaving early.

Excellent review of the debate in your article.

I would have to agree, LAME. The collection of (in the voice of a Charlie Brown adult) wah wah waah wah waaah drivel from Obama, while the usual failed attempts at dreary mirth from McCain both always leave me thirsty for something with content.

BHO continually spouts rhetorical statistics. Everyone has them, some are more accurate than others – but no matter what your opinion, view, or argument you will always be able to find statistics that support your claims.

It was interesting to me that the questions were from “undecided” voters. I don't get it...If you’re not decided by now – what catastrophic event and colloquial response would you need to derive your vote?

I know I’ve decided, and I know I can’t vote for either one of those two harlequins. I can certainly pray for either one (if not both) of them.

I don't know what the media is saying today about what happened last night - but I suggest that Obama came out in the lead with this one because of the opposing forfeiture. Neither had a good performance. And, thanks to the obviously slanted and weighted survey of questions by Mr. Brokaw, neither side was able to actually confer into debate.

I think much to the dismay and disgust of the American public.
